Tel Aviv: Residential buildings and offices will be converted to hotels in a shortened track

March 21, 2018

Source: Israel Today

Tel Aviv has long been a leading international tourist city that competes with the tourist, especially the European and Jewish tourists, against the classic tourist cities of the continent – Barcelona, for example.

In recent years, with the boom and the massive presence of tourists in Tel Aviv, it seems that every second building in the White City is already a small and prestigious hotel, but it turns out that traditionally supply does not meet the demand. In other words, Tel Aviv lacks hotel rooms.

In order to enable Tel Aviv to respond to more and more tourists, the Israeli Ministry of Tourism and the Tel Aviv Municipality are launching a rapid procedural process to convert residential buildings and offices into hotels.

Selected Quote

“We are witnessing month after month new achievements and high numbers of tourists entering Israel, and the marketing and innovative processes we are doing, together with the encouragement of airlines and investment in infrastructure, are proving themselves every month, and the tourism sector continues to be a factor that affects the economy and makes an extraordinary contribution to employment and the economy. “
